“Kristin was a wonderfully calming, supportive and informed presense for me through my pregnancy and birth. Even though it was my second birth I knew that having a doula was an important factor for our successful first birth in the hospital with our daughter five years ago. This time we were going to have a home birth with a midwife and I knew that having a doula would be helpful again as there are still many ways support would be needed, especially if a transport would have to happen. Whenever I had questions about decisions I had to make about tests, vitamins, procedures Kristin would send me multiple articles about the subject in question. She shared her books with me and her birth affirmations and most importantly shared her belief in my body and all of our bodies ability to birth… It was a very fast birth, under 40 minutes, that could have felt tramatic but thankfully it did not.
